• As a true local to the area & having been photographing over thirteen years in these mountains, I’ll give you options to chose from that best fit the vision you have.

  • This one gets a little tricky. If we are looking at a location within an hour of Waynesville, there’s no question about me traveling there.

    If the travel is beyond the Blue Ridge & out of state, I would certainly be interested & would love to make it work. Unfortunately, being a full time teacher can limit when I can travel further distances, but I do try to make it work when I can. I absolutely love traveling!

  • For the smaller shoots, it usually takes me around two weeks to deliver your gallery link. During the busy season, especially October, it will take a bit longer. At that time I am juggling school & shooting throughout the week & weekends. I generally am working twelve to sixteen hour days during the fall with zero days off.

    For weddings, it generally takes about eight to ten weeks for the delivery of your gallery link.

  • My packages are all set up based on the amount of time out shooting, the amount of photos you get back, and the amount of locations.

    My portrait packages start at $325, my couples packages start at $375, and my family packages start at $425.

  • Giving back a wide range of shots is my main goal. All of my packages have the number of images listed that you’ll receive back & I usually deliver quite a bit over that number. Make sure to inquire about a shoot if you’re interested in checking out my packages.

  • First things first, make sure to check your spam and junk folders. For some reason emails with attachments get sent to those hidden folders sometimes.

    Now if it’s during the school year (August - May) it is possible I haven’t been able to check emails due to teaching. Things get really busy & I always like to have solid info before responding (dates get changed all of the time in the public education world).

    With that being said, you should always be hearing back from me within three days unless something major is going on or I am on vacation.

  • I do not offer any services to create albums or deliver prints, but I can send you to some incredible websites where you can put those together in the exact way you want.

  • When in doubt, go simple & go with layers. I always recommend keeping your colors more neutral & staying away from busy patterns. You also want to think about the fabric & try to pick fabric that doesn’t hold wrinkles.

    Try not to show up with a baseball cap. I will not be happy.

  • The thing about the mountains is that our weather changes constantly & you can never trust the weather apps. I always wait until the day before or morning of to make the call. My gear allows me to shot in a small drizzle, but if there are torrential storms & rain we will need to postpone or cancel.
